Roserrow Air Field Polzeath

Please note that the airfield is will remain CLOSED this summer 2016

Please note that the Devon Strut Fly – IN in September has been cancelled

We are hoping to open the airfield later this autumn when the new access road has settled and we are happy it is safe to land. Only the Northern part of the strip which is approximately 450m long will be suitable for landing once the grass is cut. We have not been able to address ‘bridge’ over the new tarmac road this year, so DO NOT attempt to cross this.

Please call the Leisure centre for more information or to book a landing slot. All arrivals must check in with the Leisure centre to confirm their arrival and advice us of proposed departure.

Our 600 meter airfield is only a short walk across the fourth and first fairway to the Clubhouse. The restaurant is open for lunch 7 days a week. Please see Restaurant and Bar Opening Hours for more information. Fly in and have lunch, the atmosphere and the dress code is very relaxed.

Enjoy the spectacular views over the golf course towards the sea and Pentire Point. Our restaurant was voted one of the top 30 places in Britain to have Fish and Chips (The Times August 2014).

If you have time, why not play some golf? Hire clubs are available. Huge improvements have been made to the course and it is now arguably in the best condition it has ever been. Alternatively visit the Leisure Centre and Pool for a swim or a workout if you are feeling energetic!

We offer overnight accommodation for £100 (one bedroom apartment). Alternatively, book a short break in one of our new apartments or in one of the self catering holiday homes – please ring Holiday Rentals on 01208 869430 for prices and availability.

Please note there is no aviation fuel on site.  If you require regular petrol, the nearest petrol station is in Rock.
