“Scandinavian style meets Cornish Coast”

Seven bespoke and contemporary holiday apartments opened at The Point at Polzeath in March 2015. Truro based Architects Laurence Associates , fused modern luxury with ecological design and materials to create a premier destination for the environmentally-conscious traveller. We are delighted with the result as are visiting guests looking at the guest books.

The apartments consist of four 3-bedroom and three 2-bedroom luxury units, located 250 metres from The Point’s restaurant and health club. The building itself sits within a hill ridge, complete with a sedum roof and Kebony cladding, discretely blending with the surroundings. High quality building materials, including the acclaimed and sustainable alternative to tropical hardwood, Kebony, are used for the cladding and soffits and the stone walls are locally sourced. In addition, ground source heat pumps have been installed, which supply hot water and underfloor heating throughout.

All the apartments feature spacious open plan living areas with floor to ceiling sliding doors, leading onto private terraces with views across the golf course and out to Pentire Point and the sea beyond. They also have private South facing terraces and three of the apartments feature large garden rooms. The finish is contemporary with modern light furniture that has been uniquely designed and ‘up cycled’ and subtle hints of seaside living in the accessories. Stone flooring, wood burners and kitchens that are individually designed and built by a local craftsman complete the bespoke look.

The apartments are designed to blend in and complement the surrounding landscape, makes the most of a spectacular setting with minimal environmental impact, both in construction and maintenance.

Only minutes walk from the main club house building, tennis courts, health club, golf course and Restaurant, and only a 15 minute walk from Polzeath Beach the apartments are ideally situated for an active family holiday. There is no need to get in the car other than to get here! 3 of the apartments are dog friendly. Natural landscaping

The apartments fits in with the local topography. The landscaping feature grasses and half height "sleeper" walls which provide privacy between the apartments.

Bespoke kitchens

All the apartments feature bespoke kitchens made by Broad and Turner Design. Different colour schemes sets the tone of each apartment.
