The Bear Bar
You’ll find great food made from locally-sourced ingredients just around the corner from your accommodation here at The Point. The Bear Bar has a great atmosphere and views out to Newlands Island and Pentire Point. Look forward to long summer evenings on the wrap around terrace and enjoy a post-beach drink in one of our cosy armchairs.
Pool and gym
Our gym is kitted out with state-of-the-art equipment and we offer a range of group activities for all levels of experience – from Step to Zumba to Marital Arts. When you’ve finished your workout, kick back in the Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room at no extra cost – what holidays are made of!
Spin room
We are proud to say that we’re one of the only gyms in the county to offer guests and visitors a spin room and with a stunning view at that! Let the panorama of the pastures motivate you as you burn off those holiday calories!

Rock Oyster Festival (6th – 7th July)
Rock is the perfect setting for a midsummer celebration of food, art and music widely attended by visitors and locals alike.
Polzeath Beer & Music Festival (July 27th – 28th)
On your door step; live music, kids entertainment, golf competition and of course a selection of local and visiting beers to sample.
Port Eliot Festival (26th – 29th July)
A unique festival that has been described as ‘a literary festival but with the feel of a garden party’. A must for art lovers, party animals, foodies and book worms.
St Endellion Summer Music Festival (31st July – 10th August)
Classical music festival with worldwide stature and set in the village of St Endellion, one of the county’s most historically-charged areas. The festival will be celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2018, so it promises to be a good one!
Boardmasters Festival (8th– 13th August)
Now the UK’s 5th biggest festival, Boardmasters continues to garner a bigger reputation every year and it’s no wonder, showcasing the best local and international musical talent around – and not forgetting the surfing championships that happen during the day.
SkyBar Polzeath (17th – 18th August)
2018 will be the second year for SkyBar in Polzeath. An exciting new event with Pop-Up Bars set up on the airstrip at The Point (and various stunning locations around the UK). Guests can enjoy exclusive gigs in intimate settings.
Re-opening of the Tate
The prestigious Tate gallery has just re-opened its doors to the public and will no doubt continue to be one of Cornwall’s most-visited attractions in 2018.
Eden sessions
The Eden sessions are always awaited with anticipation and tickets sell like hotcakes every year. Gary Barlow is the first act to be announced for 2018 – we can’t wait to know what else Eden have up their sleeve for next summer. Time Out magazine have described the Eden Sessions as ‘the most sublime summer music festival you could ever hope to experience’.
