Have you planned your Book Club Escape?

How many books did you manage to read this summer? Are you dying to meet up to discuss the list (or the one you managed to read) with your club?

The Point is the perfect venue for bookworms to meet and discuss the ever-growing pile of books on your bedside table. You can spend hours nestling up in a comfy chair or sofa, contemplating “the plot” whilst your eyes get drawn to the waves breaking on the local Pentire Point or the clouds rolling in from the sea.

The list of great books is endless. Where better to share the stories than walking the coast path to a local pub, or over a Cornish Feast meal in the evening? The meal can be cooked in the comfort of your rented holiday property, alternatively you can cheat by buying in ready-made meals from Fee’s Food? The only must is to try out The Point’s popular Fizz’n’Chips Thursday evening or delicious Sunday Roast.

No decisions to make other than which wine to have with your meal.

With the health club on site – there is time to escape to do “your thing” – go for an early morning swim, book yourself a PT session or maybe a pampering massage with Rachel?  For the super energetic we recommend joining one of our popular spinning classes with the most inspirational view you would wish to encounter.

Why not organise a group yoga session in our stunning studio?

Sally O’Grady from Bristol took her book club in October 18:

“What a place – inspired enough to want to write a book!  After a wonderful walk along the coastal path, feeling well exercised, felt no guilt about indulging in food and wine we hadn’t cooked or shopped for.  We chatted about the books we had or hadn’t read as well as a great deal else.  Great few days – planning the next one already”
