Join an Easter Egg hunt in a National Trust garden

Cornwall has some of the most beautiful National Trust properties in the U.K., including a diverse range of coastal scenery, and sweeping country estates. With a number of National Trust locations offering Cadbury Easter Egg hunts throughout the Easter holidays, it will be easy to persuade the kids to explore one or more stately manor homes.

Easter at the Eden Project

 

With its tropical biomes that cover an area the size of 30 football pitches, the Eden Project is a world-famous attraction that transports visitors to exotic locations including rainforests, mangrove swamps, and Mediterranean gardens.

Participate in Beach Activities with Polzeath Marine Group

The Polzeath Marine Group are hosting a series of events over the spring and Easter holidays that all the family can enjoy. Full information of events and how to take part can be found on the Polzeath Marine Group website.

  • Thursday 11th April – BeachCare Easter Beach Clean (from 9:30am). Join Polzeath BeachCare team out on the beach for the monthly clean and survey. All cleaning equipment provided.
  • Thursday 18tth April – Rockpool Ramble (10:30am – 12:30pm) . Join marine experts, Polzeath volunteers, and National Trust rangers on an exploration of the shore. Discover the real residents of Polzeath.

 

 

Cornwall Garden Society Spring Flower Show – Royal Cornwall Showground

With a new venue and a new look for 2019, the CGS Spring Flower Show is set to be the best yet.  The event is the perfect opportunity to get into the gardening mood for the season to come.

On Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th April 2020 explore an array of  stunning displays of spring flowers and shrubs, plus beautiful floral art and photographic displays.  There are also stalls from over 60 prestigious nurseries selling fabulous plants and bulbs and another 50 plus retailers selling garden-related goodies.

Listen to an Easter choir at the St Endellion Music Festival

Every year, musicians from all over the world gather together to perform opera, choral, orchestral, chamber and recital concerts at the Church of St Endellion, near Port Isaac.
