Another year has gone by so quickly and we are only a few days away from our 6th annual Beer and Music Festival. The weather forecast is looking great, the phones are ringing and there is excitement in the air. Get ready for a weekend of live music from great local bands, family activities, food and beers of course. We are looking forward to hours of live music – new bands and returning bands, bring your dancing legs and comfy shoes!

Along with a selection of 4 guest beers (tbc – here shortly) we also have St Austell’s best selling lager Korev on tap along with Cornish Orchards Cider to quench your thirst. There is no chance of running dry as we have more stalls hopefully catering for everyone’s taste:

  • Gary Dutton coming back doing his fabulous hog roast and burgers
  • Elseafood – with their exciting streetfood fish concept
  • Rise and Grind – with coffee, cakes and vegan goodies
  • Tarquin’s Gin – hoping not to sell out of Gin Cocktails
  • Fizz Fellas – serving fantastic refreshing prosecco cocktails
  • Sauce Cocktail Bar – with a range of fun, refreshing cocktails
  • Knightor Wines – with their delicious local rose and white wines
  • Rock Champagne – with their amazingly smooth Pierre Gobbilard Pink Champagne

Tickets are available on the door only. Ticket sale starts 4pm on Friday. Entry is only £15 for the weekend, this includes your first pint – and a branded Korev Glass for you to use and keep.

This is a Charity fund raising event in aid of  Cornwall Community Foundation and Anaphylaxis Campaign. Over the past 5 years we have raised in excess of £10,000 for various charities. We will be running a raffle with great prizes kindly donated by local businesses to help raise funds.

It all starts on Friday with a Roll Up golf competition (everyone welcome) starting at 4.30pm and live music from 6pm. By popular demand Tankslapper are returning and rounding off Friday evening, ensuring everyone is in the mood for more on Saturday.

Saturday starts with John Thorpe and his Didgeridoo at 12 noon setting the tone for the day ahead, sounds echoing down the valley to Polzeath Beach. We have a fully booked Charity shotgun start golf competition taking place in the morning with prize giving in the afternoon.

NEW this year – we are also looking forward to Roustabouts who will be offering a circus workshop from 4 to 6pm on Saturday.

There is plenty of kids entertainment with golf nets, bouncy castle, toddler soft play area and more …

The restaurant and Bear Bar at The Point is also open for great food and refreshments, make sure you book your restaurant table if you are looking for a lunch or dinner break away from the festival site as we are expecting to be very busy
