Rejuvenate Mother & daughter Yogini’s Sandra & Sofia invite women to gather with them, to celebrate & connect to the Goddess that lies within. 4 days & 3 nights of nourishing, restorative practises & activities, will hopefully leave you glowing & flowing with femininity & softness. They will transform one of the gym spaces into a beautiful sacred space for the weekend, a space for sharing, learning, releasing & connecting to your inner light & being.The stay will be in the points beautiful new eco apartments overlooking the Cornish coast. The retreat welcomes women at all stages of their life, new or experienced to yoga. They have chosen to host this on the equinox as night & day share themselves in equal measure, making it a great time to focus on & cultivate balance within our lives, better yet the harvest full moon will be lighting up the sky once the sun has set over the sea, a rare occurrence for these 2 celebrations to coincide.As autumn sets in around us, the outward seasonal change brings with it many energy shifts. A great time to slow down from our every day busy lives & connect to our inner season’s & rhythms, this will be an on going theme within the retreat & learning how to flow with this ebb & flow that exists in all beings, including mother earth herself.The time together will be filled with the following… Freeing, awakening & juicy movement, positive affirmations, guided meditations, beautiful visualisation’s, empowering mantra’s & mudra’s, softening & energising breath work, transportative sound baths, women’s sister circles, ‘womb yoga’ – learning about our inner cycles & seasons, whilst honouring our deep divine Shakti – femininity, its power & its many gifts, tantric philosophy, tribal markings from Sofia, mindfulness, outdoor walking meditation & yoga sessions to connect us with nature (weather permitting), journeys through the chakras – our sacred energy centres, massage sharing techniques, freedom of expression dancing, yoga nidra, playful partner work, reflection time & more…All these practises will help cultivate vital energy & peace of mind the tools shared & experienced can all be used in every day life to enhance & assist in coping during times of busyness.They will also bring some art & craft bits along for anybody that feels inspired or an urge to let loose their creativity flow.All meals, afternoon tea, snacks & refreshments are provided during the stay bar the Saturday evening meal, where you will be invited to venture in to beautiful Polzeath to enjoy a meal in the local area, or welcome to stay onsite where you can eat in the restaurant on site or order delicious locally home made meals for your apartment .The food will be of good quality, vegetarian & prepared with love, any allergies / intolerance, food choices will be catered for, just inform us!The stay is twin room share, single supplement is also available.Access & use of Pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna & gym is included in stay & all yoga equipment is provided.The stay will begin Friday afternoon/early evening, with a welcome circle, afternoon tea & cake, introductions to one another, and a room check in.Mornings will start with a Yoga practise, followed by breakfast. Then on to an array of activities & workshops through out the day, that are all an invitation, with no need to attend if you wish for down time.Time for nature, swimming, gymming, explorations of the coast line & town, tasty meal times, afternoon teas & sister circles will also occur.Every evening will end with a candle lit deeply relaxing guided meditation/ yoga nidra & include some massage work dreamily drifting you off ready for bed time.Each yoga session will commence with a grounding & long awakening warm up. Allowing them to share with others what they experience & feel most connected with.In all their sessions you will find some meditative time & sound baths to allow you to drop deeper into your relaxed state, as they surround you by mystical sounds & loving vibrations.The last several years they have felt themselves drawn to the path of women’s work … Bringing women together to share & connect with their true selves & the sacred feminine.Sandra Barnes – Argentinian mother of two, Sofia and a son Matias. Her soothing voice & expressive manner cannot be forgotten. She began her Yoga journey in her 20’s after studying P.E at Buenos Aires University. With a background in fitness, she is able to create nourishing & safe practises. She draws influences from many ancient practises & modern styles, all woven together in a creative dynamic style.Over the past 20 years, in the UK she has taught Yoga to all walks of life, from pre natal, baby yoga, toddlers, children, schools, teens, care homes & to a range of peoples individual needs, in an array of settings. Each session with Sandra is a journey & creates a full mind, body & spirit work out. Her offerings are full of positivity, she has unbounded energy & wealth of experience making each session an eclectic mix of many influences. She invites & integrates creative expression & movement in to her work. Her passion is to connect people to their own inner fluidity & rhythm, & sharing tools for which others can reach a more happy, healthy, balanced state of being.Sofia Barnes With a background in dance, she has enjoyed growing up surrounded by her mother’s love & delving in & out of Yoga from a young age. Assisting Sandra on their retreats & offerings has left her with a clear view of the positive effects it has on people’s lives.
