The Bear at The Point
New for 2026, The Bear at The Point is Polzeath’s newest restaurant, offering sea views, a large terrace, and a proudly Cornish menu. Whether you’re after dayboat fish and chips, something fresh and seasonal, or a few plates to share, the focus is on simple, well-prepared dishes using quality local ingredients.
Open to non-members and walk-ins, The Bear is an easy place to drop into for breakfast, a post-workout lunch, or something to eat after a day spent on Polzeath Beach.
Our menus are designed to suit any time of day, with options ranging from light bites and sharing plates to more substantial dishes, along with children’s menus. We also cater for gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan diets.
Downstairs, The Bear Bar remains open as a space to enjoy a coffee whilst catching up on live sport or just kicking back with a pint after a hard-fought match on the fairways and courts.
